Maybe you’ve noticed!

Work has begun in addressing the exterior needs of the Unitarian Universalist Church at 326 Main Street. In connection with its Bicentennial Celebration, the UU Church of Wakefield carried out Phase I of the building restoration: repair and repainting of the clapboard walls. With the community’s help, Phase II will address the steeple – the tower, the belfry with its historic bell, and the spire, removed in 2008. A third phase might consider the front lawn, the expiring Linden Tree, and an access ramp.
