Rites of Passage
We mark the passage of time with a number of rites of passage in our congregation:
- Child Dedications, to welcome children into our community
- New Member Ceremonies, for adults who choose to become members of our congregation
- Coming of Age, for our younger youth exploring their own beliefs and spiritual identities
- Bridging, celebrating our oldest youth as they graduate high school and become adults
- Naming Ceremonies, for children, youth, or adults choosing a new name to better match their gender
- Weddings and Memorial Services
- Annual special services, like Water Communion, Winter Solstice, Christmas, Easter, and Flower Communion
