Whether you’re fond of being in the woods with friends, on the seashore with family, or looking out the window of your apartment, join Cassandra for a journey into how birding and birdwatching can restore a connection in our communities and renew courage and confidence in ourselves. She will need assistance for a while but has made great progress in her healing efforts (she’s made of stronger stuff than many folks). She has been buoyed by the many cards and notes she received, which have helped her recover. Kristen says, “I must say, she looks wonderful, still got that smile full of sunshine.” Dennis Fardy has been moved to a rehab center. There are six drop-off locations. All items collected help local children and adults during the upcoming winter season. Donate new or gently used coats, boots, hats, gloves, umbrellas, and backpacks.
