The community singing group, Rise Up Singing, will hold their monthly sing-along session on Friday, October 18, at 7:30 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Wakefield, downstairs in the social hall, located at 326 Main Street, across from the library.

Singers and instrumentalists of all ages are welcome to this informal and spirited evening of shared music making. No auditions and no rehearsals – just come and join in!

We sing a wide variety of songs including folk, pop, oldies, show tunes, scouting and campfire songs, hymns, etc. Everyone gets a chance to pick a song and we will try just about anything as long as someone is willing to lead it!

If you have a copy of the Rise Up Singing and/or Rise Again song books please bring it/them with you.

There is a free will offering (suggested donation $5) to thank the church for the use of their space. Please also consider bringing a non-perishable item for the Wakefield Food Pantry. We thank the Wakefield Cultural Council for their support. Parking is available behind the Town Hall, or on the street.

Future sessions are tentatively planned for the third Fridays of the months of November and December.
