This Sunday at 10:30am, our monthly chapel service will focus on “Honoring Those Who Have Gone Before.”  At this time of year, many cultures and religions take time to acknowledge and honor the passing of their loved ones. They also note the passing of the summer and harvest, and begin to prepare for the coming winter in this circle of life. We will honor our loved ones who have gone before and explore how other traditions and rituals all point us toward the same truth.  We are One.

We will create an altar to honor our loved ones who have gone before. We invite you to bring mementos or photos for the altar, and favorite food for the coffee hour spread of your deceased loved one.

Also, Day Light Savings Time ends this Saturday night, November 3rd and the clocks will be turned back (fall back, spring ahead). See you at 10:30am on Sunday morning (or 9:30am if you forget to turn back your clocks!)
