“Stranger at the Gate” Service with film and discussion

This Sunday, April 30 service will feature the film “Stranger at the Gate”. The short documentary film tells the story of Richard (Mac) McKinney, a Marine veteran from Indiana, who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. After his return he coped with PTSD, and developed Islamophobia. Mac McKinney’s plan when learning of a local mosque takes an unexpected turn. 2022 Film is directed by Joshua Seftel and nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Film. The service will be held 10:30am in the Social Hall and all are welcome!
